Mireya Almaraz

I am a graduate from the Chicago school of Professional Psychology with a Masters in Applied Psychology. I am currently looking for an employment opportunity that will allow me to continue to fuel my passion to promote the overall wellness of mental health in others. I would enjoy a position that allows me to embrace arts, creativity, and self expression for individuals in the community. Throughout my academic journey, I minored in photography and took classes that taught me the history of contemporary arts, studio lighting, 2-Design, and Graphic design. I was also an apprentice of a photographer at NEIU where I was able to attend school events to take documentary photographs for the school. Throughout my academic journey and employment history I’ve held pride in myself and the many useful skills I have obtained. Some skills I am most proud of are my ability to maintain focus and attentiveness to details with assigned tasks, meeting time-sensitive deadlines, maintaining documentation, patience, rational reasoning, determination, and team collaboration.
