Accompanied residents to and from medical appointments and assisted with appointments. Ensured clean living conditions and beds. Helped residents with transportation and attended to all needs such as feeding and drinking, leisure activities, cellular communications, and other requests.

Conduct research projects in genetics. Ran experiments with yeast cells and gene deletion cassettes and ran samples through PCR and Western blotting. Collected, analyzed, and interpreted biological data.

Shadowed ED physicians and Ped/Med clinic residents and assisted in patient care whenever possible.

Babysit the children of recovering drug addicts during their participation in the rehabilitation program in Pontiac. Also, volunteer in the food kitchen.
