I made the change from being a CNC machinist to working in warehouse operations and quality assurance after leaving MCD machine in 2020. In this relatively short time I have grown to love the fast paced environment, diversity of peers and the many unique challenges associated with warehouse operations. During my time at Amazon I developed strong leadership skills and took on a greater level of responsibility than I had ever previously known. I led a team of hard working associates and together we accomplished the sometimes seemingly impossible task of releasing all scheduled shipments on time while also maintaining the highest quality standards.
My time thus far at Target has taught me a tremendous amount about quality assurance and inventory control. I have enjoyed very much the challenges associated with ensuring that such a large facility adhere to and maintain uncompromising quality standards at all times.
As a machinist I had developed a strong, diverse skill set and tremendous confidence in my abilities particularly when working with CNC lathes. Process planning, blueprint reading and comprehension, physical set up of machines, programming and utilization of Mastercam to analyze customer provided geometric models, detailed inspection and documentation utilizing tools such as calipers, micrometers, visual comparators and gauges of all kinds, operation of and maintaining a clean and organized work environment were some of my strongest skills.
In summary, Im a team-oriented warehouse professional accustomed to streamlining shipping and receiving processes to increase overall efficiency while also maintaining the highest quality standards possible. I am also an experienced and talented CNC machinist with experience in the fields of automotive, medical and aerospace. I'm industrious and dedicated with talents in team leadership and motivation and I'm an energetic individual equipped to work hard in fast-paced, constantly changing environmet.
