Misti Staggers

Newark,Ohio

Summary

Accomplished Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a proven track record. I was the first Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department at Licking Memorial Hospital (LMH). Upon graduation, I prepared a plan, presented it to the board whom approved the proposal for adding the Nurse Practitioner title to the care team at LMH. Prior to graduating with my NP I had worked as an RN in Post-op surgery then moved to Shepherd Hill (mental health) and finished my RN career with approximately 6-8 years in the Emergency Department at LMH. I then transitioned into Geriatric care as an NP. I started at Newark Healthcare and moved forward with LMH geriatrics and settled in with MSA primary care. In addition to my activities while treating patients in rehab/long term care I also spent one day a week treating inmates at The Licking County Justice Center working with Dr. Michael Campolo. In 2017, I chose to re-direct my career path and started in the office at MSA working with Dr. Thomas Petryk as my primary consulting physician and have been there since.
