Detailed oriented professional with a strong background in construction. Adept at being valuable member of team through hard work and positive attitude. I am looking for construction position where I can work on large technically complex projects with opportunities to advance my career.
My goal is to be an Engineer/Procure/Construct (EPC) Project Manager working on large industrial based projects. I look forward to working on projects of any size and complexity and am confident my skills will be a valuable addition on any project.
Having "grown up" in the construction industry working side by side with my father and then with my current employer after graduation from Missouri State University I recognize the need for positive attitude and hard work in a team atmosphere. I am willing to travel and open to any position that enhances my opportunities to grow and ultimately become an EPC Project Manager.
My original career goal was to own my own construction company. However my father in law, Mr Bill McCully, a retired Vice President of Burns and McDonnell, has convinced me that my career goals are better met working as an Employee Owner in a Project Manager role. This will provide me with the satisfaction I want for my career.
I am very excited about the entrepreneurial spirit of Burns and McDonnell and I am confident my experience and skills would lead to a successful career.
I note that Burns and McDonnell is a member of the Construction Industry Institute (CII) and I would be very excited about an opportunity to implement CII Best Practices on projects where appropriate.
