Under the general supervision of the Public Safety Operations Manager, Shift Supervisor or designee, this position performs all duties and responsibilities related to the day-to-day protection and security of Southcoast Health System (SHS) and Southcoast Hospitals Group (SHG) assets and information as well as the safety of all persons on hospital/SHS property. The officer proactively guards against fire, theft, vandalism and unauthorized entry to SHG grounds and/or buildings while controlling access points.

• Conduct routine patrols to identify safety hazards and security breaches on the premises
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents, ensuring a swift and effective resolution
• Enforce safety regulations and policies to maintain a secure environment for all residents and visitors
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to coordinate responses to criminal activities or threats
• Provide detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and security breaches for documentation and analysis purposes
• De-escalate verbal and physical disruptions that happen on hospital property
• Physically restrain individuals trying to cause bodily harm to anyone on hospital property or at the direction of a licensed doctor.

The Boatswain/AB shall perform all the duties under the direction of duly authorized superiors, including but not limited to the following:

• Supervise the docking and undocking process, as assigned
• Supervise the loading and unloading process, as assigned, with due regard for trim and safety
• Supervise the security and cleanliness of all Deck Department areas
• Supervise and assign work details of the deck crew, as given by the licensed deck officer
• Perform all other duties duly assigned by licensed deck officers
• Will also be required to perform duties of an Able Seafarer when not performing Boatswains duties
  
  The Able Seafarer (AB) shall perform all the duties under the direction of duly authorized superiors, including but not limited to the following:
• Direct vehicles in a safe manner in the loading and unloading process
• Handle lines and cables in the docking and undocking process
• Steer vessel under direction of Pilot and Master
• Splice lines and cables, as required
• Stand lookout as required by Captain and Pilot
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Collected orders from the front office to be delivered to the customer
• Had to memorize where specific tires were located in one of the 3 warehouses on the company grounds
• Deliver orders to customers in a timely fashion while upholding good customer service
• Collected cash and checks for said orders and brought back to Roland’s to be given to accounting
• Assisted in unloading tire deliveries to Roland’s and loading deliveries from Roland’s to other larger distributors

• Uphold and Maintain good customer service
• Ensure fast financial transactions to minimize long register lines
• Adhere to store policies and procedures for operational efficiency
• Keep register terminal and store clean and orderly
• Stock and maintain the inventories according to store policies
• Address all questions from both employees and customers
