The strength of bricks refers to the degree of resistance against deformation, load, and stress. The compressive strength of bricks is the most common measure of strength. Different types of bricks have different levels of strength. Cement bricks are stronger than sand bricks, while fly ash bricks are generally stronger than both cement and sand bricks. High strength of bricks is desirable for building walls and foundations that can withstand load and deformation. Cost analysis is a crucial step in the selection of building materials for residential building. Cement bricks are the most expensive and durable among the three types of bricks, followed by fly ash bricks and sand bricks.
