Project Manager – Key Responsibilities

• Oversee construction materials testing and special inspections, ensuring compliance with project plans, codes, and industry standards (soils, concrete, masonry, steel, asphalt, etc.).
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets; identify and resolve issues to maintain project alignment.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships; support marketing and business development initiatives.
• Review and submit detailed field and lab reports; ensure accurate documentation across all project phases.
• Prepare technical proposals, daily reports, and other project-related documentation.

• Manage, train, and schedule field technicians; support team development through mentorship and oversight.
• Enforce quality assurance procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Assess project risks and maintain a strong safety culture on all job sites.
• Coordinate project close-out, including inspections, documentation, and final deliverables.

Construction Inspection Responsibilities:

• Inspected construction activities to verify compliance with contract documents and quality standards.
• Ensured all materials used on-site met project specifications and were properly approved.
• Coordinated closely with the Senior Structural Engineer and Construction Manager to report findings and resolve issues.
• Observed concrete pours, confirming adherence to the approved design mix and proper placement procedures.
• Reviewed and documented concrete compressive strength and soil compaction test results.
• Maintained effective communication with the general contractor to coordinate daily site activities and address concerns.

Project Oversight and Cost Control Responsibilities:

• Maintained project schedules by actively monitoring progress, coordinating tasks across teams, and resolving issues to prevent delays.
• Controlled project costs through careful review and approval of expenditures, while managing contractor contracts and change orders.
