Worked directly with multiple different pharmacy settings. Spent two weeks at an inpatient pharmacy assisting with unit dose prescription filling, delivering meds to patients that are admitted, and med reconciliation.  From there I moved to the community pharmacy setting at East Wenatchee Walgreens. There I spent a lot of time filling prescriptions, addressing refill denials, and assisting patients with medication pick up. I finished my externship in chemo/infusion. There I learned the process of compounding and mixing hazardous and non hazardous drugs, inventory/drug management, and obtained accurate doses for each patient on our schedule.
