A hard-working, ambitious, and creative graduate student with multiple years of experience in leadership roles, volunteering, and working in healthcare. Responsible for establishing, developing, and growing social media for the DPT program at GVSU to improve awareness of the program to undergraduate students in Michigan. I love Grand Valley, and have used my roles in promoting the program through social media, interviewing faculty candidates, and volunteering to help grow this program and it's connections within the community.

• Interview faculty candidates for multiple different positions within the program. Provided faculty with thoughts about the candidates strengths and weaknesses, and gave insight into what I think may benefit the program moving forward.

GVSU Cherry Health Pro-Bono Clinic | Clinic Coordinator | Grand Rapids, MI  05/2023- present

• As the pro-bono clinic coordinator, I am responsible for contacting new patient referrals, scheduling patients, preparing folders for upcoming appointments, scheduling the interpreters, and orienting new volunteers.

GVSU DPT Executive Board | Class Historian | Grand Rapids, MI  08/2022- present

• Created and developed social media for the GVSU DPT program to help highlight the program to potential students.

Pre-Physical Therapy Club| Fundraising Coordinator | Allendale, MI 08/2021/-05/2022

• Responsible for contacting businesses and facilities to host events that raise money for club philanthropies.
• Planned and organized multiple events during each semester, created flyers, and advertised for events.

Undergraduate Student Research Assistant | Allendale, MI 08/2021/-12/2021

• Responsible for recruiting subjects, testing subjects, training subjects, EMG electrode application, data collection, and data processing in the “Limb and Core Muscle Activation Following a Two-Week Instability Training Program” and the “Effect of Different Pre-exercise Treatments on Power Output” research studies.

• Responsible for keeping the financial books of the professional fraternity, collecting all accounts receivable and paying all accounts payable on time, maintaining the budget, presenting a financial report at each meeting, and collecting dues.
