Provide award management assistance to Project Officers and recipients
Pre-award: Participate in Objective Review panels for new Notice of Funding Opportunities
Intake new applications and perform an initial review for eligibility
Perform grant and cooperative agreement pre-award activities such as reviewing budgets, conducting budget discussions, performing cost analysis, preparing terms and conditions, and retrieving and accessing recipient’s compliance documents in SAM (System of Award Management)
Apply knowledge of federal regulatory and administrative requirements that apply to state and local governments, universities, hospitals, non-profit and for-profit organizations in accordance with 45 CFR 75 and HHS Grants Policy Statement
Post-award: Maintain award supporting documents during the award life cycle
Review and process prior approval amendments while adhering to the federal regulations of the 45 CFR 75
Provide guidance to the recipient to ensure prior approval requirements are met
Monitor the process of the prior approval amendments to ensure required actions by Program Officials and CDC are executed in a timely manner
Process closeout amendments at the end of award performance period
Use the Payment Management System to reconcile financial reports
Ensure recipient provide final progress reports and equipment verification documents
Prepare final closeout terms and conditions.
