  • After receiving the Miles Lewis Award for Social Justice and a grant for $1500, I created and directed a summer camp designed to help inner-city youth find their voice and inspire them to use their new-found voices to express themselves, make positive contributions to their community, and maximize their potential all through performing arts exercises, improvisation, and ensemble training; Oakland County Board of Commissioners Proclamation (August 2022). As of January 2024, I plan on making my summer camp global, as I am bringing it to youth in Kenya in March of 2024.
