The Direct Support Provider (DPS) is responsible for providing person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and deveopmental disabilites or other physical or mental health needs. DSPs help these individuals live as independently as possible, by assisting with daily activities, promoting community invelopment, and encouraging personal growth and autonomy.
