I have always been a driven individual with a high motor and morale. I used to play basketball all my life, even earning a scholarship to play at Southwestern College in Kansas. My freshman year of college, I thought I would be playing basketball all my life. Although my freshman year was nothing, I assumed it would be, I suffered multiple injuries to start the year, even breaking my back, which kept me from playing the entire year. Without being able to play the game I loved, I fell out of my driven personality and love for the game. I made the decision to return home, quit basketball, and work full-time. Until I made it my mission to return to school,. My grades at Southwestern were not up to par to transfer to the schools I wanted to attend, so I enrolled in a community college where I would get back on track and get my grades to where they needed to be to transfer where I wanted to go. I ended up reaching my goal and getting into my school of choice, the University of Arkansas. My life story wasnt what I planned it to be when graduating high school but I proved to my self that with the correct mindset and determination I can accomplish any goal I set for my self.
