Dumper
I work at PONTIAC FOODS,In Elgin,SC as a dumper operator.
My work is to dumper spice in the tote..and make sure every product is safe. I also make sure my surroundings are kept clean..
I also ensure that products are stack in the right stations and TR before dumping in the tote and unloaded safely and accurately according to operational needs.
Perform regular checks on the trans-tackers to ensure it's in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues.
Follow plant safety protocols and guidelines, such as wearing proper protective gear and maintaining awareness of site hazards.
Work closely with other plant workers, such as loader operators, ground crew, and supervisors, to coordinate efficient transport operations.
Document loads and transport activities, ensuring accurate tracking for inventory or operational purposes.
Proficient in operating heavy machinery, particularly dump trucks.
- Knowledge of load limits, safety standards, and plant operation procedures.
- Good spatial awareness and ability to operate trans tackers in confined or challenging conditions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine checks and maintenance.
- Compliance with occupational safety regulations (e.g., wearing uniforms, hair and bear net, and other personal protective equipment).
- Safe operation of the dumper to avoid accidents, ensuring the load is secured and balanced during transport.
