Office assistant within Health Services - scanning student records, data entry; occasional coverage of front desk duties.
Provide technical support for the College of Health Sciences patient simulation lab.
Duties include coordinating with faculty from health science programs to use the lab for training and
assessment.
• Assist international students with immigration inquiries, which include Travel I20, Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), STEM OPT, F2 status, and Passport check-in.
• Collaborate closely with the DSO to process OPT/STEM/CPT applications, exhibiting a careful
attention to detail and compliance with immigration laws.
• Expertly navigate the completion of essential forms, including 1-94, 1-765, I-983, and I-20, conducting thorough preliminary checks for accuracy in OPT applications before submission to the Designated School Official (DSO).
• Communicate with various departments and vendors through phone calls, email, and in perso-to organize events.
• Create compelling promotional materials, such as eye-catching flyers, to advertise and promote International Center for Student & Scholars (ICSS) events, maximizing attendance and engagement. Complete additional duties as given.
• Maintain a high level of proficiency in handling diverse immigration queries, ensuring clarity
and accuracy in responses.
