  • -Use both "push-in" and "pul-out" approach to work with students in small groups
  • -Provide a Schedule for all EL Teacher and Paraprofessionals
  • -Use the 10 ELL Connectors provided by the state to highlight a strategic set of language functions and forms (vocabulary, grammar, oral language)
  • -Create weekly lesson plans within the curriculum to service EL students
  • -Acquire best practices through professional development by using research and attending LaTesol (Louisiana Teachers to Speakers of Other Languages) conference yearly
  • -Review report cards every quarter to track progress of EL students
