Team Feedback

Every month when the High Use Operations review is prepared we see the continued impact that you bring in the work that we do. You work diligently to reduce credits, and to help lower churn and bad debt for the company. You also play a very important role as an advocate for our customer’s. We sometimes lose sight of the impact that we have on our customer’s and this is something that we should never forget. I wanted to take a few minutes to share a call with you that I had with a customer today, but let me give you a little background information first….. I received a request from the SRT team to call a customer back whom they had received a commendation from for Nancy Klingensmith. The customer said that she wanted to compliment AT&T for the help with her High Use account, and to give praise to Nancy Klingensmith for fixing her account. She said that Nancy was the most helpful rep that she ever talked to at AT&T. She said that Nancy just knocked her socks off. She also wanted to give praise to AT&T for the High Use Program and the benefit that we bring to our customers and stated that she planned to write on her blog what great service she gets with AT&T. This customer has both business and personal accounts with us and spends several thousands of dollars with us every month. While this customer had the ability to continue to pay us these balances, she really needed the benefit of international features but hadn’t had the time to call us to request it. When I called the customer back, she indicated that she was a very busy executive and that Nancy recognized that, and was very quick to tell her what we needed to do to help her. The customer stated that Nancy could have made the choice not to call her today, and that she would have continued to pay the same high balances that she has paid us for years. However, Nancy did call, and in one phone call, was able to save the customer over $1600.00. The customer was so impressed by Nancy, and the role that the High Usage Team plays to help our customers, that she told her son about her interaction with Nancy and about the amount of money they saved in this phone call. Together they decided that they wanted to pay this good deed forward. So they immediately made a donation for $1600.00 to a charity which helps support starving children in Africa. This donation was made in Nancy’s honor. In closing, I want to say thanks on behalf of Mrs. Dempsey to the High Usage Team, and especially to Nancy. In the times when you stop to ask yourself why you’re here, remember this interaction and the ones that you have had which are similar to it. We may simply work for AT&T, but we can make a difference in someone’s life every day!
