• Divided a large set of batches into 4 equal groups & assigned one to each full time Security officer. The extra set was reserved for planned events such as tours, constructioj projects, etc. In this way each officer was responsible to do all the work to establish, track, & maintain their badges. Composed a series of protocols to ensure badges were stored in such a way that they were useless to thieves. Equally, these same badges were set up to be quick & easy to be prepared for each guest.

Performed 8-12 full patrols per shift, including Vision Toir tags and checking the Clean Room floor for unwell workers. Doing so on an unoredictable basis so that security personnel could not be evaded.

Created a daily report detailing these patrols which included both the interior and the exterior.

Requested a flashlight since the site did not have one and the exterior lighting at night was insufficient for identifying individuals.

• Greeted incoming staff, checked their badges for proof their temperature was normal that day, as well as ensuring they were in the right building.

Greeted incoming visitors, patients, & staff directing them regarding COVID related requirements. This included family members of patients in end-of-life treatment, expectant parents coming to Labor & Delivery, and people just looking for the pharmacy.

Provided general assistance in navigating campus, finding restrooms, etc.
