Skateboarding, making jewelry and redesigning clothes.
During Covid, I began skateboarding and exploring hobbies that I've always wanted to do, but never had the time. Skateboarding gave me a enjoyable activity to participate in that helped me physically and mentally. I would practice in my neighborhood, then began to go to the skate park by the lake when I got better. Skateboarding to me is exhilarating, and learning new things makes me happy. I've also always been into fashion and jewelry making but lacked the means to pursue it. In my dimensions art class, we worked on sewing clothes, patchwork, embroidery, working with rivets, etc. Creating something new out of sustainable clothing and actually being able to wear the clothes that I designed brought me happiness.
