My responsibilities at The Home Depot include accurately scanning customers' items and assisting them with setting up a store credit card. Aside from that, I also make sure to call any specialist associate to the front in order to offer the best possible customer service. In addition, I find any items my customers are interested in and direct them to where they can find them properly.
In my sophomore year of high school I worked at Russo's as a bagger. After working there for two years I was promoted to cashier. My responsibilities as a cashier included making sure every transaction went smoothly and was accurate. In addition to memorizing all the codes for regular and exotic produce in the store, I also helped any customers in the store who had questions about the general store or about a specific product.
I worked as a cashier at Pet Supply Plus. I made sure each customer left the store with a satisfied purchase, and I helped them locate coupons that might apply to their purchase. For the purpose of helping customers find the best product or solution, I also brushed up on my knowledge of animals and animal behavior. As part of my closing shifts, I was required to feed, clean up after, and treat any sick animals.
