  • In order to pass this test you would first have learn how to read the waves of the heart and determine if they were normal or abnormal, then after you determine a set of heart rhythms, you would have to do 10 EKG’s on 10 different patients, and determine if the captures of the patients heart rhythm were clear and accurate to read and determine if there was any type of abnormality. Then after you complete the EKGs, you take a test to determine whether you are certified as an EKG Technician.

Accomplishments

When I was in the healthcare program in high school I completed 100 EKG’s and got my certification as a EKG technician. As well as passed the program with an 95 percent overall .

Another accomplishment is being the first in my family to graduate high school and soon to graduate from college and earning my associates degree and adding another certification to my name.

Another accomplishment is learning English, when I was in pre school up to when I was in 2nd grade I didn’t speak English so that was a struggle but I learned to adapt and hear and practice and now I am fluent in English snd Spanish

I have experience reading and doing electrocardiograms. Passed my NHA EKG tech certification.

I have my first aid certification as well as my cpr certification

I am in a phlebotomy program will be completed in June and will pass the NHA phlebotomy tech certification
