During my time working at the AnimaLodge, I started as a kennel technician working with anxious, aggressive, and timid animals. I was then promoted to work as a receptionist, where I made appointments, spoke with owners, handled finances, and performed various other tasks. My responsibilities included new employee training, shift leader, sanitation, aggressive animal care, and, most importantly, training new employees on how to interact with animals responsibly. I also worked here from 2022-2024.

I worked at this gym in Rapid City, South Dakota, while I attended The Salon Professional Academy. I was responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the gym, lifting heavy weights, and providing customer service. The most valuable part of my time here was recognizing when clients needed encouragement.

I was a cosmetology student here in Rapid City for just under a year. I dealt with customer service, career planning, scheduling, coursework, and much more. My time here improved my customer service skills largely and prepared me for a career.
