• Ensured that preliminary facility designs were feasible to the live plant
• Communicated and collaborated with Engineering teams and staff
• Worked alongside project engineers to document site inspection findings
• Surveyed project sites to establish reference points to guide construction.
• Analyzed survey reports, maps or other topographical or geologic data.
• Researched and developed municipal works projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

• Correlating cable facility locates to prepare for cable placement,
• Cable dig ups,
• Placing cables both buried and aerial
• Fusing 12 to 240 count fiber optic cables.
• Special business account T1 and ASE circuits,
• Special TPM packages planning out copper and fiber optic utility arrangement for current and future developments
• Fiber optic facilities repair
• Measured, cut, spliced and installed wires
• Laid out cabling plans and ran through buildings to desired locations.
• Climbed poles and ladders to install, maintain or inspect
• Tested circuits and components of malfunctioning telecommunications equipment to isolate sources of malfunctions.
• Read and interpreted technical drawings, maps and blueprints prior to starting tasks.
