Gameday Athletics
05.2024 - 08.2025
  • Over the summer of 2024 and 2025, I worked for a subcontractor who installs turf and rubber flooring, along with various other surfaces. The job involved a lot of traveling. For example, we traveled to Maryland to install turf on top of an apartment complex, to North Dakota to install a turf field for an elementary school, to Iron Mountain in the Upper Peninsula to install rubber for a weight room, to Texas for a field installation, and many other places. My responsibilities included gluing in the turf/rubber, spreading sand over the turf, stapling the turf, and anything else required to get the job done. I absolutely loved this job as well as the guys I worked with, and it helped me get used to being away from home for long periods of time.
