I have proven to be a team-player and possess great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • As my resume indicates, I have worked in many different positions in the hospitality industry and have gained a lot of experience internationally and that makes me become enthusiastic and passionate with my profession. I am wise enough to realize that I still have plenty more to learn, and I am a hardworking student and very quick to learn, since I have received training in the hospitality industry from 2011. I am very open-minded and willing to acquire more skills to improve and better myself. I still believe that I am young and there is a lot of room for improvement. As an aspiring entrepreneur, I have a vision and a long-term goal of owning successful restaurants around South Africa even across the borders too.
  • I fell in love with the “Art of Food” as I like to refer to culinary when I was still a waiter and every time I carried the plates to the dinners there was an aspiration to prepare the food for myself. To some people food isn’t just for nourishment. There is actually a complexity towards the preparation and the way of indulging of the food. We all have our different cultures and traditions and one other way to distinguish people’s cultures and backgrounds is by the food they eat. For instance in South Africa we may have Italian food with the same traditional recipes but until an Italian comes and actually tastes the food, only then the meal can be authenticated as Italian.
