In-process controls of SUBSAFE production work, utilizing approved work packages to independently inspect critical components ensuring component specifications for production and testing are met or exceeded. Non-compliance verification and accurately recording results for higher authority deliberation.
• Thorough inspection of Controlled Work Packages to ensure the correct level of inspection/ supervision, correct material, matching hardware specification and torque values to technical drawing or local instruction specifications, adequate and least intrusive testing meets requirements of the applicable maintenance standard(s) and PI(s).
• Excellent communication in providing inter-departmental training and solutions to problems quickly as to not hinder production progress.
• Use root cause analysis to determine failures and provide appropriate counter-measures to prevent repeat failures.

• Ability to apply precise specifications taken from engineered drawings to an in-process-control environment through Formal and Controlled Work Package procedures for SUBSAFE, L1, Reactor Plant Clean, and Radiological systems.
• Expertise in the use and training of others in the use of precision measuring tools in order to provide Objective Quality Evidence through QA Forms for certification of first time quality maintenance.
• Independent verification utilizing, Recording OQE for, Retaining, and understanding of record retention requirements of QA Forms 1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 17, 20c, 26, 27, 28, 34, 34a.
• Production of maintenance schedules and proper communication interface with multiple entities for material and equipment procurement.
• Assurance that replacement material is of the highest quality that meets or exceeds technical guidance.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to build, organize, and track, on average, 80 critical work packages per year from receipt to audit and certification.
