  • Project Management i was in charge of maintaining the given schedule, and if not provided one i had to make one. I needed to insure my guys were there on time and all the material was onsite. And ineed to insure the client was happy with our proformance at all times.
  • Material i was responsible for ordering material for each job. I would need to read blueprints and construct a material list that coordinated with our scope of work i would need to account for all the framing and drywall material all the ceiling system material and all the paint material. I had to shop prices with various venders to cut down cost. I would have to order in a timely and logistically manner. If material couldn't be delivered in time or was coming from the warehouse i would coordinate the delivery.
  • Inventory I would be required to inventory everything. Material in the shop, Material onsite, Deliveries, Office supplies. Everything needed to be accounted for at all times.
  • Maintenance I would perform basic routine maintenance around the shop and office. I would set up and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs on the equipment, trailers, and fleet vehicles.
  • Problem Solving As a Operations Manager my main objective was to insure operations always ran smoothly. If and when a problem would occur i would need to tend to it right away and get it handled, this could have required, multiple phone calls, extensive research, multiple emails, negotiation, change orders, onsite visits, ext. Whatever it required i would come up with quick cost efficient solutions.
