I am an Entrepreneur who loves his work and his community. I work to make Lumpy Ridge Brewing Company a positive business and environment in Estes Park and beyond. I work in the community in hopes of adding value to thoughtful decision making.
My job is to make my team successful. I believe Craft Brewing sits at the intersection of Science, Engneering, Art and Entrepreneurship. Lumpy Ridge Brewing Company is not only designed as a for profit business, but also a community member. We strive to create and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with everyone we work encounter.
I manage day to day operations as well as administrative duties bookkeeping, financial and production forecasting, budgeting.
I work to align, understand and capitalize on industry standards and trends in our local market and beyond.
I manage all aspects of alcohol sales for our various fundraising events including: Roof Top Rodeo, Bog Foot Days, Frozen Dead Guy Days and Catch the Glow Season Events.
These duties include: Licensing, Ordering inventory, Point of Sale Operations, Retail Sales and reconciliation.
I was appointed to finish a term. This was when there was a joint planning commission. While my time there was short, it was an incredibly insightful and valuable experience. Through Community engagement and staff guidance, I was able to make determinations on many projects and truly engage the community government process through a wide open lense. Meaning, I was able to separate myself from my opinions and listen to community members, staff and applicants and make thoughtful determinations.
As the president of the EAD, I had a lot of rebuilding and building to do for the organization to become relevant to our community. This included empowering and aligning our board by focusing on small wins in terms of programming and outreach. Building from there we were able to establish a signature event Friends of Folk Festival as one of the premiere 'local' events. Our First Friday Art Groove continues to flourish and through various partnerships in other Arts related endevours, we became able to provide scholarships to local artisans and help fund events like Lumpy Circus and various Theatre projects as well as Snowy Grass Music Festival and and murals and much more. I looked at this organization as being in the quality of life business and I left it far better than I found it.
Plays well with others-I have great realtionships with many different people Even folks I don't agree with, I work to be civil and respectful Most folks realize quickly that I am for the greater good in whatever capacity that takes
Listener-I find it better to listen than speak Nothing worse than talking alot and saying nothing
Organizer-I work to find order in the chaos i find it more efficient for all
Implementer-I do what I say I'm gonna do
Look Far-I look at the horizon and beyond
