This is technical and administrative work of a complex nature involving responsibility for developing and implementing policies and procedures, coordinating activities, and overseeing the day-to-day operation of the County's emergency telephone response system (Enhanced 911). The work also includes management of existing cellular tower locations and procuring additional sites to enhance the County's communications and increase revenue.

This is specialized work involving responsibility for coordinating procedures, staff and resources in order to implement policies and procedures for the operation of an emergency preparedness plan for the citizens of Rockland County. The work also involves responsibility for the development and dissemination of associated public information.
