Since joining the union it has been my utmost desire to eventually gain the opportunity to become a UBC instructor. I believe the mentoring and growth of our apprentices is one of the absolute keys to strengthening our Union as whole. I've attended both the Journeyman Leadership and 212 program at the ITC, and if not for the covid crisis would have had the opportunity to attend the 3rd year program as well. Those experiences strengthened my desire to teach and help in any way possible our next generation of carpenters.
