I have been in education for twenty-eight years. I have taught some form of music classes the entire time with ten of those years including teaching a pre-k classroom, three years teaching a combined pre-k/kindergarten classroom and two years helping in a special education resource room. I also spent one year as a reading aide in a combined first and second grade classroom. I am certified in instrumental music, choral music, general music and early childhood. I was involved with Boy Scouts with my son, who is an Eagle Scout, and completed the Wood Badge Leadership Training. Being a teacher has trained me well to multitask and I enjoy learning new skills.
