Nicole Cherro

Boulder,CO

Summary

I am a University of Colorado Boulder graduate with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a business minor, and a sociology certificate in Health, Care & Resilience. I classify myself as a self-love and mental health advocate- I truly believe in the power of therapy and clinical social work to change people's lives. I want to make a difference in the mental health field and become an elementary school clinical social worker. My long-term career plan is to open my own practice for children and young adults who are struggling with body image-related disorders such as body dysmorphia and eating disorders as a result of the media and social media. In my free time, I love all things nature, such as skiing, hiking and paddleboarding. I also enjoy playing the guitar, reading and writing poetry, pushing myself outside my comfort zone, and learning new things!
