Built lasting relationship with students and families in order to create a positive learning environment. Fostered a classroom community that established clear expectations, rules and routines. Worked with adult students seeking to obtain their High School GED. Instruction was focused on Mathematics, Reading Comprehension, and test preparation including problem solving methodologies and time management.

Followed classroom lesson plans and routines left by the classroom teacher. Experienced working with students in grades K through 8th. Long term role working with Special Needs students.

Served in multiple positions within the Board of Ed, including Special Education, Librarian, and as a classroom teacher for the 5th Grade.
