Cardiovascular

  • Assess, evaluate, diagnose and treat patients for cardiac symptoms, risk factors which include ordering cardiac testing such as Electrocardiograms, Echocardiograms, Stress testing, CT angiography coronary, Cardiac Catheterizations to name a few.
  • Educate patients on lifestyle modifications for better cardiovascular health, including but not limited to nutrition, exercise and stress management techniques

Vascular

  • Screening patients for vascular symptoms and risk factors to evaluate for deep vein thrombosis, venous insufficiency and peripheral arterial disease
  • Educate patients on conservative therapy of venous insufficiency via compression stockings, exercise, nocturnal elevation, low salt diet and increase in hydration
  • Evaluate patients who have not achieved optimal pain relief or improvement in vascular symptoms despite conservative therapy for vein ablations
  • Assess and treat patients with peripheral arterial disease via implementation of a CT abdomen and pelvis with IV contrast and peripheral angiogram/angioplasty
  • Order supervised exercise therapy and evidence based medications for treatment and management of peripheral arterial disease


Primary Care

  • Work with families, caregivers and patients to determine the best options for treatment, diagnosis, and prevention.
  • Facilitate patient referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers.
