My responsibilities range daily depending on the workload and priorities. I am responsible for ordering all incoming parts for stock and service repair jobs. In addition to keeping track of part returns, cores and warranty claims processing. I fix the inventory discrepancies, make inventory adjustments and do the cycle counts. It is my duty to work closely with the techs to order parts for a job quickly and accurately. I assist in almost all quotes for repair jobs when needed in addition to providing the parts pricing and availability. Coordinating with all the customers on scheduling, progress updates, invoicing repairs, notifying customer when work is completed, and taking payment are all part of my daily tasks. Answering phones and greeting customers is a top priority. At Walker’s we do repairs for everything from camper/RV’s, utility trailers, dry vans, heavy duty trucks, generators, boom trucks, switchers and welding /fabricating repairs. Multitasking is necessary and keeping track of many details is key in my daily work.

Third party companies haul Meijer trailers out of state to Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Missouri and Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. We dispatch repairs as the calls come in. This position requires a good memory, high attention to detail, the ability to change tasks repeatedly throughout the day and to work well with many others in the company to run smoothly. Among my other duties I helped organize and track a major warranty recall on over 600 trailers.
