Seasoned veteran when it comes to working around animals and nature. I have tought hundreds of people about animals and nature over my long career as a tour guide at the wilds. While my experience at Deerassic has helped me perfect my skills of presenting animals to the general public. Then there's my own personal animal collection which has helped me hone my animal husbandry skills over the course of my entire life. It's been a long hard fight to get here and now I am more then ready to take things to the next level and progress further in this amazing feild. Buy helping to preserve animals and their environment for future generations to enjoy.
Here I have worked seasonally for 4 full season's as an education team member. Where I help to reconnect people to the outdoors. Some of the activities I help with include..... Taking people out creeking, which is an activity where I take people out to the creek located on the property and we look for different types of herpetofauna and invertebrates that live in the creek like salamanders and crayfish. Another activity I help with is the nature center presentations where I show case the nature center located on property and show the animal ambassadors that live there to the general public in a safe and professional manner. There's also a few other activities I help out with like open park and feild trips.
Here I have proudly worked seasonally for about 7 years now. Guiding guests around the animal pastures on the property as I educate them about the land and animals that can be found at the wilds and the importance of conserving animals and the environment we all live in. As I strive to support the mission of the wilds which is "Empowering People. Saving Wildlife."
