INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGIST with extensive professional and clinical experience delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients suffering from complex and/or chronic heart conditions and diseases. Expertise in addressing healthcare diversity, inequity and disparities with focus on program development, conceptualizing and implementing protocols, performance improvement and quality control.

Leadership style is driven by innovation, inclusion, team work, collaboration and delivery. Master's in Public Health (MPH) graduate from University of Nevada and Health Care Economics from Harvard University.

Dr Sareen serves as the Medical Director of Women’s Cardiovascular Services for the Ascension Tennessee and is the founder of Women's Heart Program in Ascension Michigan Market. She has founded Women In Cardiology Section for American College of Cardiology, Tennessee Chapter, and has served as the Chair of Women’s Heart Council for American College of Cardiology Michigan Chapter. She serves as the President for American Heart Association Middle Tennessee Board of Directors. In her role as the Medical Director for Ascension, Dr Sareen constructed 7 women’s heart clinics in Michigan and 3 in Tennessee, put on Five Annual State-of-the-art Symposia dedicated to women’s heart care with specific focus on under-served women. Dr Sareen takes pride in launching community screening initiatives, most recent of which is 2030 screens by year 2030 in the State of Tennessee. Dr Sareen has raised 1.2 Million Dollars for Women Heart Health between Ascension Michigan and Ascension Tennessee Markets.

Detroit Crain’s business magazine recognized Dr Sareen’s talents in the 40 under 40 most successful women and Detroit business recognized her passion among 30 leaders in the state of Michigan. She was awarded the “Women Who Lead” by WJR radio and most recently the Coeur d’OR (Heart of Gold) award from Ascension Providence hospital for her contributions to the community and teaching future physician generations. Recognized by Stevie International Awards as the “Women of the Year in Healthcare” Gold 2024 for outstanding services for women heart health for Ascension Health System. Awarded “Global Recognition Award 2025” for being a “Pioneer in Women Heart Health”; featured in CEOWeekly, Business Insider and Forbes.
