In my role as a Behavioral Health Technician with KMHS, I directly worked with the youth program for a solid 8 months. I love this role wholeheartedly as I believe myself portrayed as a sort of role model for these people going through huge emotional and physical traumatic scenarios. I take immense pride in the steady care and motivation to provide a steady care and support system for these patients as they commit to their treatment. KMHS has not only taught me qualities of being a leader, but also provided stable positioning in my own personal direct life goals and objectives. I find it personally rewarding and inspirational to support each clients goals and achievements. Examples of my job as a BHT include but are not limited to -

• Provided direct patient care, ensuring safety and comfort in treatment environments.
• Implemented individualized treatment plans under supervision, promoting patient engagement and adherence.
• Completed documentation for every incident and forwarded to correct personnel for review.
• Provided crisis intervention and de-escalation services, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.
• Developed visual schedules and other supports for clients requiring additional structure during daily activities, increasing independence levels over time.
• Kept facility clean, performed basic maintenance, and restocked supplies to support program needs.
• Mentored new Behavior Health Technicians, sharing knowledge and expertise while ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures.

• In my role as a logistics specialist, I had direct oversight of inventory management and procurement of high priority U.S. military stock and equipment on a submarine warship for a period of 5 years.
• I was responsible for ensuring the accurate accounting, proper handling, and prevention of loss of multi-million dollar parts, including ship maintenance repair parts, heavy machinery, and hazardous waste and chemicals.
• I was entrusted with organizing training sessions and maintaining documentation to track areas where my team needed improvement in meeting daily work requirements.
• Managing a team of two colleagues and one supervisor, I successfully led six deployments in challenging conditions, focusing on improving the work environment and providing support to new team members.
• I am dedicated to my work and committed to ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely, with a constant focus on finding ways to improve processes and productivity while maintaining the well-being of my colleagues and team.
