- I had greeted customers and was the first face they saw in the restaurant, making sure their dining experience was pleasant.
- It was also required that the host operate as a busboy, making sure tables are cleared and prepared for customers to dine within 5 minutes.
- During my time at Stone Arch Brewpub, they taught me to be a food runner. As a food runner, I was responsible for delivering food to a table when the waiter is unable to.
- Being a food runner also required me to be a food expo, determining and checking that all plates meet the requirements of the restaurant.
