Aventura is a higher-end dining establishment in the heart of Downtown Ann Arbor specializing the modern tapas and world-renowned paella. As a member of the service team responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Providing excellent customer service by anticipating guest needs and responding promptly with intentional and quality service.
• Training new employees to perform duties.
• Processing cash payments accurately using a POS system.
• Demonstrating up-selling techniques when appropriate to increase restaurant sales.

The Michigan Daily is the University of Michigan's independently operated and student-led news organization. I participated as a staff writer for the books beat of the Arts section and as a reporter for the investigative journalism team, Focal Point. Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Developing and pursuing stories independently and for assignment, covering range of topics and events.
• Collaborating with editors to ensure all stories were factually accurate prior to publication.
• Meeting deadlines with reliable, in-depth news coverage.

• Youth recreational soccer coach for two U-12 Coed seasons.
