Assisting with laboratory maintenance of Drosophila Silvestris cultures to support ongoing research activities. Transfer newly emerged adult flies into fresh vials to sustain colony propagation. Post-prep, sterilize, and clean culture vials and dispose of waste.

Developed a testable hypothesis and research experiment on the cellular and physiological consequences of overwatering an Aloe Vera plant at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Conducted field work and measured my work using visual scale determined by physiological observations, measured RGB values using digital imaging analysis, and Blue methylene cell count staining under a microscope to determine the cellular conditions and apoptosis. Earned the opportunity to represent my class at the First Year Symposium.

Completed a research internship with "Teens in Health" a student-driven organization focused on providing quality information regarding careers in healthcare. 6-week internship under U.C. Berkeley student Alan Wang. Part of the Human Disease and Treatment Cohort of summer 2024. Wrote a published research paper on Prenatal congenital lung diseases and the potential use of Crisper-Cas9 in the future.
