Accomplishments

  • 2022 - Executive of the year award, Eskom. The award is for the manager in Eskom who has most effectively lived and practiced the Eskom Leadership Brand. The Nuclear Operating Unit (NOU) was downgraded to a "Plant of Special Focus" category following a World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) peer review in 2019. The performance was reported to have declined to a level 3 *Plant of Special Focus. Noma spearheaded the Recovery journey as the Recovery manager, by volunteering herself on behalf of the NOU. The station recovered to a level 2 category at the 2022 WANO peer review with notable improvement in many areas.
  • 2011 - Plant Engineering manager award, Koeberg. The award was as a result of leading a highly motivated team that ensured that all Key Performance Areas are green (acceptable).
  • 2016 - Sponsor of the Eskom Women Advancement Programme (EWAP) aimed at supporting, inspiring and empowering women to break the barriers for their development.
