I began my work career as a restaurant busser in 2021 at Mile Away restaurant. At the end of my first month working at Mile Away, I was asked to join the wedding and event staff. I have been working weddings and events in our outdoor event tent for the past two years, as well as bussing inside the restaurant. I have also trained several staff members as bussers or event staff over the years. In summer of 2023, I was asked if I wanted to become a waitress. I have spent the summer of 2023 waitressing every weekend. Through my work in the restaurant industry, I have learned how to interact with the public and solve any problems that arise.
