
I have been working with the Juvenile Public Defender's Office, since 1999. 1999 through 2001, I was a temporary employee working with the Pima County A.W.E.P Program.
In February of 2001, I was hired with the Juvenile Public Defender's Office, as a permanent employee and have been here, to the date.
I actually love my job but, I would really want to learn something NEW, before retiring.
I have a good working relationship with the many departments, here at Juvenile Court and would like to remain here at the Juvenile Court.
I love helping the community and have volunteered my time at the Food Bank. While volunteering, I would help by making food boxes. I give back to the community, at least one week out of the calendar year.
I recently joined a kickball team and love the sport it feels good to keep kids involved and physically active.
Open Cases in the Company database re: Delinquency, Probation Violations, Drug Court, Out of State Transfers Detention Hearings, Mail-in advisories, E-mail requests; Destruction of Records, other.
Search / Navigate through search engines: Justware, JoltsAZ, AGAVE., collecting information to open the above mentioned cases.
Create Name Records / Create Case Files -Physical / Digital.
Enter Charges using A.R.S numbers and counts.
Send out correspondence- re: next court date letters.
File Clerk-Responsible for maintaining the file room.
Shelve all closed files and loose filing of case documents.
Assist attorney's with personal filing in their offices.
Archives-Minor's age out, their files must be archived in boxes, identifying the contents of the boxes, generate a Transfer List for ease in file retrieval. Keep file retention paperwork.
Re-named the file room in it's entirety, when converting from Juvenile Case number's to State wide case numbers.
Re-indexed the file room in it's entirety, using the newly issued SWID numbers.
Cross-referenced the file room in it's entirety, replacing new labels.
Receptionist -I am friendly, courteous and treat everyone with respect whether they are on the phone or in person.
Incoming mail-sort, identify and distribute mail.
Naming & Dropping (in-coming) documents -
Scans that come in from attorneys, secretaries, downtown, and other court staff., are re-named for easy access of documents.
Mail Runs-Deliver mail to other juvenile departments to include: County Attorney, Calendar Office, Clerk's Office, Contract Attorneys, Probation Office, to include other departments.
Calendar Call-Go through (next weeks) Court calendar with other departments to assure we are all on the same page, as far as calendar hearings., generate a report following this task and notify the office attorneys.

Experience with Court proceedings and note taking
Can type 50-56 wpm with no errors
