Accomplishments
I just retired after 24 years of working as Teacher Assistant for Special School District.
I had worked in multiple settings, including Essential Skills and co-taught classrooms.
During my career in Parkway South High School I am regularly substituted for teachers, and had taking long-term substitute positions.
For the entire 2025-2026 school year I assumed the responsibilities of teacher role in a vacant teacher position, and independently planned units and lessons to make adjustments based on student progress and needs. I actively supported teachers during Academic Lab to help the students with math and science homework; assisted with test proctoring, and supported English Learner students. Every summer I willingly assumed the responsibility and support for ESY to work with students in different school grades and needs.
