A 2019 Teach For America corps alumni and Special Education educator, who has acquired diverse skills while working in the education field. Holds an M.Ed in Secondary Education, and is certified and licensed in Rhode Island. An organized special education educator, who is successful at providing classroom and emotional structure for special needs children required to flourish in an academic setting. Partners well with teachers, counselors, and administrators in developing supportive strategies for all students, including managing challenging behaviors, collaborating with general education teachers on accommodating and modifying lessons, overseeing special education case management, presenting effective educational planning, and coaching staff members in effective teaching methods. The previous leadership, volunteer, and academic experiences have produced strategic skills in creating relationships that have had a meaningful impact on the lives of secondary students.
