- Led the state wide Fecal Immunohistochemistry Testing(FIT) and Interventional Gastroenterology component of the medical outreach. It was divided into the Pre- outreach component, outreach and post outreach components.
Pre-outreach: January- March, 2024
- Developed outreach strategies to enhance community engagement and awareness of health initiatives by involving the local healthcare providers and community partners including the state department of Health.
- Coordinated events and educational workshop targeted at colon cancer awareness and screening modalities.
- Recruited over 500 patients who satisfied the inclusion criteria and scheduled the patients in the exclusion criteria for colonoscopy.
- Conducted FIT on the participants and enrolled those that are positive to participate in the free colonoscopy exercise during the outreach.
