I am an undergraduate Psychology major, currently preparing to transfer to the University of New Haven to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Psychology. With a strong foundation in psychological theory, research methodologies, and human behavior, I aim to apply my knowledge to the intersection of psychology and the legal system.
In my role as a Research Assistant at Yale University, I gained hands-on experience in psychological research, including data collection, analysis, and experimental design. My work in a fast-paced lab environment has honed my ability to conduct thorough research, maintain meticulous attention to detail, and collaborate effectively with peers and faculty members. These skills have equipped me to excel in both independent and team-based projects.
I am passionate about pursuing a career in Forensic Psychology, specifically focusing on criminal behavior, psychological assessments in legal contexts, and the psychological evaluation of offenders. I plan to engage in research that explores topics like offender profiling, competency evaluations, and the mental health of individuals within the criminal justice system. My goal is to contribute to evidence-based practices in forensic psychology and work towards improving mental health assessment and treatment within legal settings.
