  • Brought onboard as San Diego's ESH Manager and Safety Committee member to support the MRG PMAV Contract and required company needs.
  • Created a Fall Protection Program the first couple of days of my arrival and trained current and new staff on 1910, 1915 and NAVSEA standard item requirements.
  • Developed San Diego's CAL-OSHA Work Violence Prevention Program and trained the staff by creating training material out of some of my previous experiences as an ESH specialist; Additionally developed processes and procedures to follow for emergencies from fires, hurricanes, floods and earthquakes.
  • Set up the companies CUPA permit from the ground up. Guide warehouse staff to set up the facility to be compliant with CAL-OSHA requirements for warehousing materials, and established the companies CERS Permit.
  • Set up the companies EPA ID Numbers to be able to track, schedule and pick up hazardous waste materials at locations like Naval Base San Diego, Naval Base Point Loma, Naval Base Coronado, BAE SDSRY and Huntington Ingalls.
  • Conduct training required to be up kept and conducted to new employee's and current staff.   • Assure that company and subcontractors would utilize the proper personnel protective equipment required for the job. Personnel protective equipment would range from safety glasses, hard hats, steel toe boots, fall protection, respirators, self containing breathing apparatus, nitrile gloves and tyvek suits.
  • Conduct equipment lay down area inspections for every active project. Equipment inspections ranged from Air Compressors, Fuel Generators, Electrical Power units, Production Trailers, Project Site Permits.

  • Developed a safety and Environmental program for daily auditing Via I-Auditors Software: This software was utilized by all levels of safety technicians. The reports created and collected would then be used for lessons learned at the end of each project availability. The software was also used to collect project site specific discrepancies, passed and failed inspections, incidents and accidents, internal corrective actions, and project progression status from beginning of the project to the end.
  • Track Expiration dates and renew permits for the company facility, Equipment CARB and APCD Registrations, Job site permits and registrations, Environmental protection association ID's, And annual job site facility entry permits, CERS Reporting system, company EVQ information and RCRA reports for large quantity generators.
  • Mentored, led, and trained new safety technicians on company policies and Procedures. Responsibilities were assigned to each safety technician primarily focused on their strengths and specialties, at times id have them work with each other shadowing each one another to work on their weak points to better themselves overall.
  • In charge of conducting employee reviews ranging from 3 month reviews to annual reviews to follow up on areas that needed growth and support.
